Providers will enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. This course emphasizes the:
• importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival
• integration of effective basic life support with ACLS interventions
• importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation
**The 2020 Advanced Cardiac Life Support manual is required for this course. You may choose to purchase this through our website by clicking on the box to the right of the registration. If you choose not to purchase the book now, you are responsible for getting the manual and taking the course pretest before you come to class.

The course includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as a team leaders.

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive an AHA ACLS Course Completion eCard valid for two years. Your eCard will be issued the next business day and if you have not received it within 48 hours please call or email the office.
