ACLS- You are required to provide a CURRENT copy of your ACLS card at the time of the course. If you do not provide a PRINTED COPY of the CURRENT certification, we will charge you for an INITIAL course, and you will be required to complete the INITIAL course. Can't locate your card? Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive an AHA ACLS Course Completion eCard valid for two years.  Your eCard will be issued the next business day and if you have not received it within 48 hours please call or email the office.

This is a workshop-style course. You must have 8 or more to make a class.

The Babysitter 101 course is designed to get your boys and girls ready for the exciting responsibilities of being a superstar babysitter! If your pre-teen wants to earn their own money, learn to be independent, gain respect and begin building a reputation for being professional then enroll them in the Babysitter 101 course to get them ready for their first job!

This course provides soon-to-be babysitters with everything they need to find gainful babysitting jobs by marketing themselves in a professional and productive manner. Participants in the course will create their own flyers and begin planning business cards, client interviews, and entertainment options for children.

Participants will learn to watch out for safety issues and deal with fussy children; as well, new babysitters will become comfortable in dealing with basic first aid and keeping children safe during an emergency. Just because your pre-teen is older now does not mean they will be a great babysitter – give them the confidence and knowledge to go out there and be a great babysitter.

Giving your children the proper tools to be successful in their first business venture will follow them throughout their lifetime. Learning about responsibility, accountability, time management, and emergency management will get them started on the right foot. Register your pre-teen for an upcoming Babysitter 101 and get ready to watch them blossom into fun-loving, out-going babysitters!

BLS for the healthcare provider                                                       

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This hands-on course teaches the latest CPR techniques using the American Heart Association’s® 2020 guidelines for adults, children, and infants. Emergency Medical Technician 

Online Course Details

 

Start in our virtual classroom and engage in your emergency medical technician didactic education. All the supporting materials you’ll need will be preloaded into your course management system before the first class.

The course curriculum covers anatomy, physiology, patient assessment survey and triage, bleeding control, treatment of shock, oxygen therapy, and more.

Busy Schedule? Don’t worry! Our system is accessible from your smartphone or tablet. This is a self-paced program with completion deadlines. 

At pre-scheduled points during the didactic lectures, students travel to our training locations for skills training and testing. You will be trained to handle a multitude of real-world situations through extensive hands-on training and instruction in our simulation labs. 

After all training and field internships have been completed, students will then be eligible to take the NREMT psychomotor and cognitive exam.

 

The PALS course gives healthcare professionals the knowledge and skills to better recognize and treat critically ill infants and children. The course uses a scenario-based, team approach to teach pediatric emergency management of pediatric patients approaching or already in respiratory or cardiac arrest.  The course covers treatment beyond the first few emergency minutes and goes through stabilizing patients or transport phases of a pediatric emergency, in or out of the hospital.
