Providers will enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.  This course emphasizes the:


• importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival
• integration of effective basic life support with ACLS  interventions
• importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation

**The 2020 Advanced Cardiac Life Support manual is required for this course. You may choose to purchase this through our website by clicking on the box to the right of the registration. If you choose not to purchase the book now, you are responsible for getting the manual and taking the course pretest before you come to class.

The course includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as a team leader.

ACLS- You are required to provide a CURRENT copy of your ACLS card at the time of the course. If you do not provide a PRINTED COPY of the CURRENT certification, we will charge you for an INITIAL course, and you will be required to complete the INITIAL course. Can't locate your card? Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive an AHA ACLS Course Completion eCard valid for two years.  Your eCard will be issued the next business day and if you have not received it within 48 hours please call or email the office.

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This hands-on course teaches the latest CPR techniques using the American Heart Association’s® 2020 guidelines for adults, children, and infants. Our experienced instructors will discuss and review scenarios for emergency response and CPR in both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

The intended audience for this class includes providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, medical or nursing students in training, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.

Family CPR and emergency response

This Family CPR class teaches you to respond to emergencies and encourages learning in a family-friendly environment where all ages are welcome to work together (Not recommended for children under 10yrs old without adult supervision. Children ages 8-10 can attend with adult supervision.) In this class you will learn how to:

  • Evaluate an emergency situation
  • Make critical, rapid care decisions
  • Address choking in Infants, children, and adults
  • Use an AED
  • Provide cardiac and respiratory emergency care until the paramedics arrive.

This course features an easy to learn, skills focused, hands-on curriculum. There is no nationally recognized certification with this course, but you will receive a printed certificate indicating that you have completed training at New View Training that is compliant with national standards for CPR certification and Basic emergency response/ first aid.

HeartCode® for BLS, ACLS, and PALS SKILLS CHECK

Schedule time to complete Heartcode® hands-on skills checks for BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

This course is for individuals who have already completed PART ONE of one or more of the above-listed classes.

** You must bring your PART ONE Heartcode® 2020 COMPLETION CERTIFICATE to participate in this class!**

American Safety & Health Institute’s Bloodborne Pathogens program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

Intended Audience

ASHI’s Bloodborne Pathogens course is ideal for any individual or employee who has a reasonable anticipation of contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials as a result of performing designated job duties.
