Providers will enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies as well as BLS. This course emphasizes the:
• importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival
• integration of effective basic life support with ACLS interventions
• importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation
**The 2025 Advanced Cardiac Life Support manual is required for this course. You may choose to purchase this through our website by clicking on the box to the right of the registration. If you choose not to purchase the book now, you are responsible for getting the manual and taking the course pretest before you come to class.
The course includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as a team leader.

2. Complete Precourse Test and Precourse Work
3. Review and understand Cardiac Rhythms

- Asystole
- Bradycardia
- High Degree AV Blocks
- Sinus Bradycardia
- Sinus Tachycardia
- Supraventricular Tachycardia
4. Review ACLS Algorithms
5. Review ACLS Pharmacology
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive an AHA-ACLS and BLS Course Completion eCard valid for two years.
ACLS- You are required to provide a CURRENT copy of your ACLS card at the time of the course. If you do not provide a PRINTED COPY of the CURRENT certification, we will charge you for an INITIAL course, and you will be required to complete the INITIAL course. Can't locate your card?
